THE CHALLENGE:

KNM Group needed to cover their massive oil separating vessels at their Tofield, Alberta site. The buildings needed to accommodate 8 m high vessels and allow for extra storage on site, all on budget. A further economical solution was incorporated for another 7 m x 8 m door opening.

THE SOLUTION:

Two custom Calhoun CC-Series buildings were designed and engineered for KNM on a 2 row-high sea container foundations, with custom 7 m x 8 m door openings and 8 m high side walls to accommodate the vessel. The custom job gave KNM the affordable height they needed, while offering additional storage they were looking for nearby in the sea containers.

The CC Series buildings allowed for the easy entrance and exit of vessels through large bi-folding doors. The project was completed on time & on budget.
